Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka

In our Department of Neurology, Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka, we have years of experience in diagnosing and treating patients with ALS. Neurologists from the domain of neuromuscular disease are trying to identify ALS symptoms in the early stages, and repeated checkups are performed. In the treatment of our patients pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, psychologists, physicians and palliative care physicians are involved. We are working all together to help and provide support to our patients and family members.
We cooperate with the Clinical Hospital Center in Zagreb, the Referent Center for Neuromuscular Diseases of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, and we have recently established cooperation with the ALS Center of the University Clinical Center of Ljubljana.

The interdisciplinary team in the Rijeka ALS center includes the following members:
