The purpose of this institute is to promote and encourage scientific research concerning the prevention, diagnosis and treatment relating to nervous and mental diseases. For many years, researchers are involved in the study of the pathogenic mechanisms in some rare diseases including those of the motor neuron. The Institute is at the forefront of diagnostic technologies including innovative technologies of the high throughput for genome analysis and neuroimmaging.
